  am a Senior Lecturer in Law at York Law School and have known Anabel for over a year in my role teaching on the undergraduate law programme. The headline of the reference is this: Anabel is an exceptional candidate who I can recommend in the highest possible terms. She is a highly personable and capable individual who I consider to be among the most able at the Law School. I – and I am sure many of my colleagues - consider Anabel to be a model student. What sets her apart in my view are the “soft” skills such as communication; ability to work in teams of people with different personalities and learning styles; and her problem-solving abilities. As her results imply, she works very hard and consistently, being able to project manage large pieces of work over long periods effectively. She is highly organised (which is not a common trait amongst all students), enthusiastic and conscientious. She is a highly valued member, by both faculty staff and fellow students, of our learning community at York Law School. In my experience with Anabel, she is: Well suited to roles involving working with others, including vulnerable groups (such as children). Exceptionally well organised and able to manage her own workload effectively. Anabel is punctual and communicative. Adept at handling sensitive and difficult situations. I have taught at York Law School for eight years and have a lot of experience of teaching students who have gone on to achieve great things after graduation.
