Hello! My name is Bel, and I’m a warm, dependable, and experienced babysitter with a genuine passion for working with children of all ages and needs, furthermore I am from a strong background in childcare, both personally and professionally. I come from a large family with four sisters — three of whom are significantly younger than me — so I’ve been a hands-on, present figure in their upbringing from a young age. This natural early exposure sparked my love for childcare and helped me develop both patience and confidence in caring for children in a variety of situations. I’ve built on this foundation with professional experience at a Montessori nursery, where I gained insight into child-led learning and positive behavioural support. In addition, I hold a certified paediatric first aid qualification which I earned through the Combined Cadet Force (CCF), ensuring I can respond calmly and capably in any emergency. During my time as Pastoral Prefect in Year 13, I further strengthened my leadership and care skills by supporting younger pupils emotionally and socially — a role that required both empathy and discretion. I’ve also volunteered as a tutor for children with learning disabilities, tailoring support to individual needs and helping build their confidence. Through previous babysitting work, I’ve gained valuable experience supporting children with mental health conditions and autism.
