Hello,
I'm Hannah.
I'm a current second year student studying Childhood: Learning and Development at Nottingham Trent University. After finishing, my degree I am looking to complete a Masters Degree in Paediatric nursing in hope of becoming a playworker on a Children's Ward in a Hospital.
I have six years experience in babysitting and have completed courses in safe guarding and basic first aid. My availability is consistent and due to online university rather flexible.
I have GCSE qualifications in Maths (6), English Language (6) and English Literature (7). I also have other academic qualifications available if asked for.
I have worked for three different families babysitting at various different ages and have worked with the families for consistent amounts of time.
Thank you for considering and reading my ad.

Hannah’s professional experience
June 2015 - Today
I’ve worked for this particular family for over the last 6 and a half years ever since their son was 7 and even now that he’s 13 they will still occasionally call me for the odd job in the evenings if needed.
I cooked for the child, helped him with his homework. We played, watched films, laughed, baked varies different things and I gained a fantastic bond not just with this child but with his parents and extended family too.
September 2016 - September 2016
In 2016, as part of my Health and Social Care GCSE, I took part in a two week work experience placement at Woodland Children’s Centre. While on this placement, I was mainly based in the Crèche the centre had for parents/guardians to use while the were in the group sessions or courses the centre had to offer.
I worked with a range of different ages from 3 months old up until 7. This allowed me to gain a lot of different experiences with children of all ages and meant I had to be very quick thinking when it came to activities to play to keep them occupied and at ease at all times. The experience I had with this company is what further developed the passion I have towards my future career and was my deciding factor in what I have now chosen to do at University.
January 2018 - Today
Much like my first reference, I have also worked with this particular family for around nearly 4 years now and will still again get called for the occasional job here and there now that their children have grown up.
My roles within this job included: cooking for the children, helping with homework, following bedtime routines and just overall entertainment while the children were in my care.
February 2018 - September 2020
Even though my experience at Clarks never left me in care of the child 1:1. I still believe that my time with the company is relevant to my personal experience. Clarks is a well known company that connotes family values and is aimed at parents with young children.
I worked at Clarks for around 18 months and in that time I became a trained fitter, a cashier, a “buddy” and most proudly the seasonal supervisor of the children’s department.
Like previously mentioned, this never gave me one to one experience with the care of a child but it provided me with knowledge in how to successfully keep families happy with my service and gave me a starting understanding in the development of children. Both of which I believe are key when taking care of a child and working with a family.
May 2019 - September 2021
I’ve been working with this family for just over two years now. They have two children both under the age of three. Though it’s been a very hands on experience with them it’s been fantastic. This family gave me the deeper understanding and experience I needed with early years children. I started working for them when their youngest was around 5 months old and they’re soon to be 3 within a couple of months.
My roles and responsibilities of this family included: feeding, nappy changes, bath time and bed time routine and just general requests the family would ask for as well as general care and entertainment.
March 2015 - April 2017
The Diamond Centre is a horse riding centre that allows people will all different disabilities the opportunity to learn to ride horses - this included both children and adults.
My time here allowed me to gain a great experience with all different kids of children and adults from all different places of life.
