My name is Mackenzie and I have had the priveledge of looking after children for the past 3 years. I am also First aid trained. I specifically have years of experience working at a child play centre for children aged 4-11 years old. During this time, I have learnt to organise creative play environments, creating fun games both outside and indoors as well as arts and crafts. Additionally, this role has raised my safety awareness in ensuring I manage risks, accidents and disputes between children in an effective manner. I have learnt that communication is key with my group of children and I take time to understand them as unique individuals. I also have 3 years experience tutoring kids both privately as well as in group settings. I love finding ways to make learning fun and interactive my making up games and understanding my students specific interests. Additionally I worked 6 months as a teaching Assistant which enabled me to offer individual support to students and cultivate patience, close relationships and management of situation when challenges arose. I am very passionate about ensuring the babysitting experience is as enjoyable for the children as possible.
