Hello, My name is Lauren. I work in a nursery Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday but I am free after 6:30pm on those days. I have most Thursdays off so I am free most of the day. I have grown up with younger siblings looking after them and babysitting them throughout my teen years. I have loved watching them grow into loving individuals and hope to see the same happen with other children I look after. I always make sure that children's needs are met emotionally and physically and make the child comfortable to the best of my ability. I ensure children can learn and play in a comfortable environment and love watching them grow through different challenges.     I work in this nursery, full time. Working with children aged 3-5 years old but also have worked in other rooms in the nursery looking after children as young as 2 weeks old. Helping the children to grow in confidence through play and other activities. Taking the children on outings, allowing the children the most positive experience possible whilst at nursery. Helping the children transition from pre schoolers and prepare them for school. Creating positive relationships with the children and building trust with them, showing them how to form other positive relationships so they can take these skills all the way through their childhood.

    I baby sat for a lovely family, looking after their 6 year old daughter and 8 year old son. Playing with the children in the evening, before then bathing the children and then helping them get ready for bed. I tidied up the mess that we had made and tucked the children into bed making sure they were comfortable and felt at ease with their parents out.
