Nanny/ Babysitter

Hi! My name is Selina and I love working with young children and finding engaging activities to do with them such as arts and crafts, playing with their toys, going to the park, and baking cupcakes! I will follow a routine set by you if you prefer. I am a reliable and trustworthy person who can take the initiative. I have attended a comprehensive child and baby first aid course and have an up-to-date DBS certificate. In my sixth form years, I enjoyed doing work experience in a primary school and assisting in year 7 French classes, providing extra support to the teachers and students. My experience with children also includes regularly looking after my nieces and nephews as babies, including overnight. I also worked as a maternity nurse for my sister and got my nephew into a great sleep and feeding pattern at 6 weeks old. Longer-term, I worked with a family of three children aged 3, 5, and 8. I helped with their homework, reading, phonics, projects, and exam preparation and spoke to them mostly in French. I took them to various activities such as swimming, tennis, and monkey music and would entertain them with the different games in their playroom and play with them in the garden. I love to travel and enjoyed working as an Au Pair in China over the summer of 2018. I have also worked as an Au Pair here in London for a French family with four children aged 4-12. My main responsibilities were with the youngest child assisting with play dates, the school run, preparing dinner, and bedtime routines. I am currently working as a holiday nanny in Greece for different families (summer 2022). I am available for part-time nannying a few days a week and Adhoc babysitting.
