My name is Chloe, and I am 19 years old. I worked as a Personal assistant for a child with medical needs for a year. I would go to the house and we would do activities such as arts and crafts, baking, walks/bike rides, play board games etc. we would also sometimes go out to the cinema, for lunch, play centres etc. Through my social work children and young people course, I got to do two placements in nurseries over the course of a year. I learnt about child protection/ safe guarding procedures and I learnt about different types of play and how they suit different children. I also got the chance to build a range of different relationship’s with children ages 0-5. My family fostered for 14 years. This experience taught me how to build relationship's with a variety of different children, difficulties some children have and how important nurture is. I am friendly, energetic, reliable and lots of fun. I am very flexible with availability and can work most days/times throughout the week.
