Geography

Hi, I'm currently a university student doing a Bachelors Degree in Human Geography and will be continuing on to become a secondary school Geography Teacher. I have a calm and positive approach to my lessons that aims to encourage students and ignite a passion for learning. I achieve this through my subject knowledge, engaging and unique lessons, and my ability to breakdown difficult concepts for students to understand easily. Each lesson I provide will have clear outcomes and aims that are tailored to what the student wants or needs. By the end of the lesson the students knowledge will be tested to ensure they feel confident and have understood the concepts delivered to them. Before starting any lessons I would like to know about previous knowledge in Geography as well as what they would like to gain from my lessons. I will tailor to the needs of individual students meaning they are able to get the best guidance and support. I am able to provide additional subject knowledge to support their classroom knowledge, go over concepts the student is finding difficult and deliver exam techniques for GCSE and A-Level students.
