Hello! My name is Chiara, but everyone calls me Iaia. I’m an Italian student who has been living in Amsterdam for the past two years for my studies. Babysitting has always come naturally to me, being around children and teenagers has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a big, lively family, where I quickly learned to adapt to the constant activity and develop patience and empathy. Since the age of 15, I’ve volunteered every summer at camps in Italy for children aged 4 to 14. These overnight camps were full of meaningful interactions and taught me how to connect with kids of all ages in engaging and supportive ways. In addition to that, I have extensive experience with children from 0 to 11 years old. I’ve cared for babies, toddlers, and school-aged children both through babysitting and within my extended family. I’m confident managing feeding, naps, playtime, and bedtime routines, always tailoring my approach to the child’s age and needs. I also have experience supporting children with special needs, including those with autism and Down syndrome, through after-school programs. I love creating a warm, safe, and fun environment where children can be themselves, feel heard, and enjoy their time
