My name is Safiyah and I’m 19 years old. I’m new to childcare but have always been good with kids and great at taking care of them, along the years I’ve been doing paid childminding for friends, family and family friends which has given me enough experience to believe I can expand and fulfill this passion professionally. I’d love for you and your family to be apart of my journey, here’s what I can offer you. I can guarantee safety and the best possible care for your child / children - not just the bare minimum standard. I am able to escort your children to any after school activities / clubs and back home safely and punctually. I can cook a meal and provide snacks and ensure all household chores are done whilst also maintaining any routine parents have put in place. I am able to bathe children if necessary but would prefer if children are able to bathe themselves or if a parent can do so when they get back, but have no issue with doing it. I can feed pets and will ensure the house is kept clean and tidy. I can help the children with any homework or anything they need help with doing, as well as maintaining boundaries set by parents (screen time, curfew etc). I can iron clothes, do laundry or basic household tasks if need be. Personal statement: Many parents on this website get quite nervous to put their children in my care as I’m young and I’m new to this work field, and I will admit that I am still learning but that doesn’t change my genuine passion to pursue this long term and everyone starts from somewhere.
