Hello! My name is Sveva. I am half Italian, half Australian, and grew up in Brussels, Belgium. I am trilingual in English, French, and Italian. I started babysitting at 13 and have been working in childcare ever since through municipal summer camps from 16, professional agencies from 18, and private families across Belgium, Italy, and now London. I have worked with children from a few months old up to 12 years. Alongside my private family experience, I worked as a children's activity facilitator at CLL Language Centres in Brussels, where I gained supervised experience supporting neurodiverse children within a structured professional setting. This is where I developed an approach to emotional regulation that I bring to all my childcare work: in moments of stress or frustration, I encourage self-soothing through validating affirmations and sensory grounding exercises, which I have found particularly effective with children who need additional support.
