My name is Imogen, I am a caring, reliable, and experienced childcare professional with over eight years of experience working with children of all ages in schools, SEN settings, and private nurseries. I have a genuine passion for caring for children and creating a safe, happy, and nurturing environment where they can feel comfortable, supported, and confident. I have experience caring for babies, toddlers, and older children, most recently working in a nursery baby room. I am confident supporting children’s daily routines, including feeding, changing, sleep routines, personal care, play, and activities that encourage their learning and development. I understand the importance of following each child’s individual routine and working closely with parents to provide consistent care. I also have five years of experience working within an SEN unit in a mainstream primary school, supporting children with additional needs including Autism, Down syndrome, Global Developmental Delay, and Cerebral Palsy. This has given me excellent patience, understanding, and the ability to adapt my approach to suit each individual child. I am confident, responsible, and able to use my own initiative while ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing are always my priority. I enjoy organising age-appropriate activities, reading stories, singing, creative play, outdoor activities, and supporting children’s development through everyday experiences. I am also trained in Sign Along, First Aid, and safer handling. I understand that choosing someone to care for your children is a very important decision.
