Male Babysitter Available Afternoons & Evenings Sun - Thurs

Friendly and caring male babysitter is available part-time during afternoons and evenings Sunday - Thursday. Happy to support first-time / single parents, help with bedtime routine and assist with potty / toilet training. Experience includes co-care of newborn twins and solo-care of children between 3 months and 14 years. 6 months to 6 years is the age-range I most enjoy looking-after however, I will consider other ages as well. I'm a friendly, laid-back & easy-going type of person. I'm calm, gentle & patient with children in addition to giving lots of affection but firm (in a gentle way) when necessary. I favour gentle parenting therefore my approach is to encourage & support children to do any task instructed of them when they seem disinterested in doing it or not behaving correctly, especially manners. Children's feelings and emotions are just as valid and genuine as those of an adult. Therefore all children under my supervision will always have their feelings and emotions respected and sensitive situations will be handled with the upmost empathy. Through showing understanding and support, trust is built with the children that creates a friendly and enjoyable time together in a relaxed, safe, secure and comfortable environment with me.
