My name is Matilda. I am 24 years old. I am a Primary school teacher in the heart of London, UK. As an aspiring Primary School Teacher, my passion for teaching is deeply rooted in the belief that every child has unique abilities and potential waiting to be unlocked. I am committed to fostering an environment that not only encourages academic growth but also cultivates critical thinking, creativity, and a love for learning. My experience working with diverse groups of children has taught me the value of adapting teaching methodologies to accommodate individual learning styles, ensuring that every child feels supported and empowered to succeed. My first degree in Primary Education covers the study around Primary Education, including emphases on current educational practices and educational values. I have covered modules such as Child psychology and development, personalised learning, and contemporary issues in Primary Education. This gave me a chance to really debate and practice my critical thinking. I have really got to analyse the role of Education in a child’s life. I have been fortunate to observe in several schools before starting my PGCE in primary Education with a Maths specialism.
