I have always been passionate about working with children and find it highly rewarding creating a safe, nurturing environment for them to feel happy, supported and free to express themselves.With experience in tutoring and babysitting i feel I have developed a strong understanding of how to engage with children in an understanding and meaningful way and i feel l will be a great fit for this role. Since July 2024 I have been a private tutor to students age 5-13, aiding them to reach their academic goals and increase their confidence in Science,Maths and English.By tailoring each lesson to their individual needs i have not only helped them improve academically but also built a bond with each of them through patience and understanding of each of their characters and needs.This job has not only taught me patience and communication but also responsibility and trust between my students and their parents.I have also been able to build my planning and flexibility skills as planning lessons for my students to be fun, engaging but also informative has been a top priority for me.As well as creating a fun and excitable learning space,I have enforced clear expectations for each of them of their behaviour, and set clear boundaries of my expectations of them.Learning about the individual characters and abilities of each of my students as well as balancing, planning and making educational resources for them has been challenging at times, but i feel as though it has equipped me with a highly strong skill set. As well as tutoring, I am also a self employed babysitter and i babysit for several families around my area from children age 3-8.Through this job i am able to balance fun with responsibility, creating fun activities for the children: I’ve led creative play sessions, supervised outdoor activities, helped with mealtimes, and ensured a safe and nurturing environment at all times.These experiences have taught me how to remain calm under pressure, manage minor conflicts or worrie
