I am a calm, dedicated, and hardworking care professional with over six years of experience in the health and social care sector. I began my career as a support worker and, two years ago, expanded my role to include live-in care during the COVID-19 pandemic. This experience has strengthened my adaptability, resilience, and commitment to providing high-quality care. Throughout my career, I have developed strong practical skills and experience in moving and handling, hoist use, bathing, toileting, personal care, safeguarding, skincare, companionship, and monitoring changes in clients’ health and wellbeing. I have supported individuals with a wide range of conditions, including depression, heart disease, dementia (including vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s disease), physical disabilities, mental health conditions, diabetes, Down syndrome, paraplegia, visual impairments, Parkinson’s disease, and epilepsy. I am confident in delivering person-centred care tailored to each individual’s specific needs, always ensuring dignity, safety, and respect.
