Part time Nanny needed in Folkestone

We're a friendly family based in central Folkestone, looking for a reliable, kind and proactive part-time nanny to help care for our 5-year-old. Our current nanny is moving on soon, so we're hoping to find someone who can step in and become a steady, supportive part of our routine.

About the Role:

* Late August start
* 3–4 days a week (we'll agree the days once we find the right person)
* Flexible hours between 15–30 hours per week (Unavailability or holidays should be communicated in advance when possible)
* Monthly schedule will be given in advance
* Mostly school and club drop-offs/pick-ups (everything is within 5 miles)
* Predominantly wrap around care and occasional overnight stays (spare bedroom equipped for candidate)
* Exact start date is flexible – happy to offer a handover from myself and current nanny/ support during the transitional period before official start date

About Us:

* One child, aged 5 – sociable, fun and used to being around nannies
* No pets, non-smoking/drinking home
* Home is centrally located with easy access by car, train or bus

What We're Looking For:

* Reliable, caring and efficient individual
* Someone aged 21+

Must have:

* Enhanced DBS (either on the update system or willing to get a new one prior to job offer)
* Up to Date Paediatric First Aid
* Public Liability Insurance
* MINIMUM of Level 3 NVQ in childcare or Degree Educated in relation to education or childcare
* At least 4 years experience of sole charge nannying or babysitting
* Clean driving licence (own car essential)
* Ideally Ofsted registered (or happy to become registered)
* Friendly, trustworthy, and genuinely enjoys being around kids
