I am a 51 year old Dad who has my son half the time. He's 10 years old and a lovely little boy who enjoys reading, walking in the woods, programming video games and playing on his Switch! It's quite rare that I go out when I have my time with him, but sometimes I need to, and it's good to have a backup option.
