Experienced Babysitter & Teaching Assistant

Hello, I am eldest female of my 5 siblings and the second eldest of us all. This has definitely influenced my passion to work with children, I enjoy being the person my younger siblings can trust and talk to. As well as looking after my own siblings, I have always been the babysitter for my parent's friend's children, so I am experienced in looking after children regularly and have gained this experience throughout most of my life. I have worked in a nursery for a year and a school for over 4 years as a teaching assistant from years Reception to Year 3. I was also a nanny for just under a year, caring for a 5 year old with autism and her 10 year old neurotypical brother. I am also comfortable caring for older children. I am mainly an SEN TA and have experience teaching children with autism, behavioural difficulties and Down syndrome. I am passionate about my work with children and strive to help them become independent, learn new skills and manage their emotions.
