Babysitter looking for a job to gain more experience

My name is Lily. I’m 16 and have loved caring for children since I was younger. I've been volunteering with Girlguiding Rainbows since December 2023, looking after girls aged 4-7, some of who have additional needs such as Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). As a leader I know how to communicate effectively with the children and set clear boundaries while keeping a positive atmosphere. I am also required to communicate effectively with the parents about any issues that arise. As a Rainbow leader I have done certified first aid training in February 2026 which is valid for 3 years and allows me to know how to deal with different injuries children sometimes acquire like burns, allergic reactions and choking. I have also volunteered as a Sunday School Leader since September 2025, helping with stories and crafts for children who are pre-school aged to Primary 3 who also have a variety of additional needs like Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), chronic long term health issues and speech delay. This requires supervising any crafts and games and ensuring everyone is enjoying themselves and also making sure they all understand the lessons we are teaching.
