Looking for babysitter in Nuneaton

We are a family looking for a reliable and experienced nanny/housekeeper to support our household and care for our two children, aged 8 and 6.

We are open to two possible arrangements, depending on your availability and preference.

Role options:

Option 1 – Part-time nanny (childcare only)
• 3 days per week: Tuesday to Thursday
• School pick-ups at 15:20
• Occasional early morning starts (from 6:50am) and occasional late finishes (up to around 21:30), linked to hospital shift patterns
• Driving the children to extracurricular activities (swimming lessons in Nuneaton and Bedworth)
• Preparing the children's dinner
• Light homework support (reading, spelling practice, times tables)

Option 2 – Part-time nanny / housekeeper (childcare + housekeeping)
• Up to 20 hours per week
• Childcare responsibilities as outlined above
• Housekeeping during school hours, including:
• General house cleaning
• Laundry and ironing
• Keeping the home tidy and well organised

We are happy to discuss and agree the exact split of hours depending on what works best for you.

Essential requirements:
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Proven experience caring for young children
• Full UK driving licence and confidence driving children
• Reliable, organised, and comfortable working independently
• Warm, calm, and supportive approach with children

Pay options:
• PAYE employment at National Living Wage (£11.44 per hour)
or
• Self-employed arrangement at £16 per hour
