Part-Time Nanny / Housekeeper – Stoneleigh

We are a warm family in Stoneleigh seeking a calm, capable nanny/housekeeper for two children (ages 7 and 11).

The Role
Experienced with school-aged children; calm, patient, and confident setting boundaries; able to take initiative and build effective routines. Experience with neurodivergent children is a strong advantage. Must be comfortable with occasional personal care needs, meal preparation, and light household organisation.

Hours
Mon–Thurs, 1pm–7pm
School holidays: flexible (mix of holiday club and nanny care, with potential for additional hours)

Daily Schedule
1pm–3pm (household support)
Prepare a simple healthy family dinner
Light household tasks (tidying, laundry, general organisation)

3:15pm onwards (childcare)
School pickup (15-minute walk)
Homework support, reading, and after-school routine
Manage transitions between activities (snack, play, bath, dinner)
Provide calm, consistent guidance and support emotional regulation

Working Arrangement

Both parents work from home on a hybrid basis. The nanny will be expected to take full responsibility for the children during working hours and manage the after-school period independently with minimal interruption.

About the Children

Our daughter (11) is imaginative and enjoys reading, crafts, and creative projects. She has ADD and benefits from structured support to stay focused and complete tasks. From September, our daughter will move into secondary school and become more independent; support will focus on her after-school routine at home and primary care for our son.

Our son (7) is energetic and creative, with interests in building, art, and outdoor play. He is progressing well but benefits from support with writing and transitions. He has Spina Bifida but is fully mobile and active; he may occasionally need discreet support with toileting.

Both children respond well to calm structure and consistent boundaries, particularly during busy after-school periods.
