A great child carer would be someone who is capable of understanding what a child wants/ needs but at the same time keeping them under control.

A child carer would take care of the children in any circumstances.

Food is an essential for a babysitter- a babysitter should make sure that the children are fed.
A bedtime schedule should be made my the parent so that the carer knows what times the children go to bed.

For a child under the ages of 2 years there would need to be a schedule of when the child should be fed and if they are on bottles then the amount of ounces the child needs.

a child carer should always tidy the house up after the children and make sure that it was either left as it was or ever better!

A great babysitter would always be early or on time. Never late!

Manners would be essential.

If a child is in nappies then the carer should be responsible for changing. Bathing the children would be applicable if its okay with the parents. Activities such as taking the children to a park would also have to be checked with the parents.

Previous experience with children would be another great aspect because you would know what to do and how to do it.
