I am currently unemployed after finishing full time education; I am looking for a job that allows me to help others. I have experience with children through primary school work experience and through looking after my Goddaughter and would like a career involving in either their teaching or development. I have a pass level In JSLA which is a leadership qualification which was earned in PE through teaching a class of younger year students when I was doing my GCSE'S. Whilst I was doing my A-levels at Weatherhead I also did some volunteer work at the Salvation army, there I helped prepare 'goodie bags' for the homeless and helped out with the girl guides meetings and also attended the Sunday service to help out. I have a good level of communication which I have picked up from studying English Language and Drama.
I have 4 pass a-levels in Drama, Film studies. English literature and English language.
11 GCSE passes including English Literature and Drama grade A, English Language grade B and Media, ICT, Maths, Duel Award Science, Child Development grades C, Art grade D and a JSLA pass.
I have gained classroom experience from St Peter and Pauls' Primary school in New Brighton, I gained this experience in 2011 as part of my year 11 work programme organised by the school. During my week in the Primary school, I was asked to take on several responsibilities to help the teachers in classroom management which included health and safety and safeguarding of children at all times. During break times I was asked to make sure that they were safe and happy on the playground. Another task allocated to me during break times (as I have a level 1 certificate in first aid) was to look after children who had injured themselves whilst out playing. I was also responsible at that point to prepare an incident report for the teacher, explaining the severity of the injury. Whilst supporting lessons, I was frequently asked to focus my energy on those children who did not want to participate in
