I am a passionate learner, sceptical, scientifically literate, and love teaching and inspiring children with new knowledge, wonder of life, from animal world to hidden universe and the history of human civilisation - with the aim of nurturing critical thinking and curiosity in the young minds. It is in my interest to fascinate children through creative tasks, though art, through game-based activities - all the knowoledge for such activities I have Acquired durin my academic and personal learning of child development, developmental psychology, cognitive sciences and general reading from leading educators on how to better motivate and egage a child into learning.
Above all, I believe it very important to develop self-control in a child and for this a balanced discipline is very important.
I am a very sociable, open-minded, smiley person, always trying to learn something new.
I am a piano player, big afficianado of classical and jazz music (and consider it critical to provide good music education from young age), dancer (classic choreography and Latin dances like salsa) and now I am learning to paint in watercolour, which I enjoy a lot and would be happy to join a child in his drawing activities.
Another important thing to say is that it is my big hobby to spend time in the places of nature, enjoying the walks and the landscapes ( Hamspead heath and Richmond park are my most visited places in London to enjoy the wilderness and beauty) and I would therefore be happy to have inspirational and educative walks with a child to discover things about nature and its wonders, learning about birds, animals, plants and other phenomena (it might happen through games, songs and some improvisation).
