Actually, I'm retired from teaching.

My main skills are in the area of teaching but I also have experience in nanny housekeeper and supporting children/teenagers with autism spectrum disorders for their cognitive, social, and emotional development through graphical/artistic and dramatic expressions, as well as the handling of materials, objects and images.
I have a Degree in Painting, a Master's Degree in Educational Sciences and a Post-graduate Degree in Neurodevelopment in Pediatrics.
Also, I have an Intensive Course in Development of Emotional Intelligence in Children and Teenagers and training courses in 'Children's Book illustration' and 'Creative Writing for Children'.
I am fluent in Portuguese, good in English and basic user in French and Spanish.
I have good command of Microsoft Office tools, Paint, some knowledge of such programs as SPSS, Excel, Adobe Photoshop CS4.
Also, I am an author of illustration in school text books and I made a presentation about the work I do with a young autistic woman in the illustration book 'As Asas de Afrisio'.
I enjoy reading, travelling and meeting people from other cultures.
I'm available to make volunteer work with impaired children.
Actually, I do volunteer work in AFSD (Horse Blue) - Solidarity Association of Families with Disabilities, Portugal: supporting Inclusion Programs.
