I've always found children to be fun and interesting to work with.
I have volunteered as an assistant in a nursery class (where my mother works) and this year I have regularly babysat for two children (aged 4 and 7). I have also worked as a volunteer in the preschool of the Brighthelm Community Centre in Brighton from October until April.
From these experiences I have learnt that children need the freedom to have fun but also need to feel safe with clear guidelines and expectations.
Some of the things I love doing with children are reading to them, setting up role play situations, taking them out to playgrounds and giving them the chance to draw and paint to develop their creative side.
I understand the importance of being consistent and reliable when working with children and would be happy to provide references if needed.
I speak fluent English and Italian and can understand Spanish.
