I am a very positive and enthusiastic person with a great sense of play. I am patient with a natural maternal quality. I currently have an enhanced CRB disclosure and possess a great deal of common sense.
I have just graduated from East 15 Acting School with a BA Honours in Acting and Community Theatre.
My greatest achievement whilst undertaking this degree was working with children to create a piece of theatre bringing the stories of their grandparents alive on stage. This was a 10 week process and was a great stimulus for these children as they were from a disadvantaged area. I used various artistic mediums in the workshops such as poetry and movement. As the person appointed to liaise with parents, I regularly gave feedback on their child's progress.
Here is just one of the positive comments received from one of the children's parents:
'You gave all these children something so positive and boosted their confidence'.
Alongside working as a facilitator I have a lot of babysitting experience. Looking after children aged 3-11 (boys and girls).
Later this Summer I will be working as a child supervisor at Bristol's Grillstock festival where I will be responsible for children's activities and welfare on the site.
